Award verification request
To verify an RMIT student's award from 2003 onward open the relevant graduate list and use Control F (PC) or Command F (MAC) to search for the student entry:
If the student cannot be located or further detail is required you can:
- Fill out the Award Verification Request form (PDF 23kb)
- Email or fax the form to Exams, Awards and Graduations (details on form).
Past students’ conferral (graduation) date and award name can be released as a matter of public record.
If you require information in addition to program name and conferral date (i.e. attendance dates) you must supply written authorisation signed by the candidate giving RMIT University permission to release their information.
Note: A student may have met the academic requirements of a program but not be conferred. Graduation at RMIT is not compulsory. In these instances enrolment details will not be disclosed without written authorisation signed by the candidate.
Note that electronic signatures are not acceptable.
Processing of requests may take up to six working days. Requests submitted during peak times and requests for students conferred prior to 2001 may take up to ten working days.
