After your placement (or project)

Thanking your supervisor at a WIL partner organisation

If you completed a placement or undertook at project with a partner organisation you should consider sending a short letter or email to your supervisor. Not only is this the polite thing to do, it is also a good opportunity to express what you learnt through your placement or project. This can help maintain a good impression with the organisation if you’re planning on applying for a job with them after graduation. Even if you’re not planning on applying to the organisation, you never know if you might come across your supervisor again in your professional career.
