BMD Group Scholarship

If you are in your third year of a civil and infrastructure engineering degree in 2016, this scholarship may provide you with financial assistance and an opportunity for work experience.

Value and duration

The scholarship is valued at $10,000 over two years, and may include a minimum six weeks of work experience with BMD Group.


To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen
  • be enrolled full-time in your third year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure)(Honours) program
  • have a minimum GPA to date of 2.0 (credit average)
  • have demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, innovation, self-motivation, and potential leadership qualities.

Further information

There may be an opportunity to participate in a minimum of six weeks work experience at The BMD Group at the end of your third year if available.

Terms and conditions

Scholarship recipient/s must agree to acknowledge the BMD Group award program in all consequential media and documentation relating to the outcomes from the scholarship.

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Successful candidates will be notified in July. Only successful candidates will be contacted. If you have not received an offer letter by 31 July 2016, your application has been unsuccessful.
