Beazley Scholarship

If you are undertaking an apprenticeship in air-conditioning and refrigeration, electrotechnology electrician or plumbing and can demonstrate outstanding potential, this scholarship could assist with your study costs.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides $2000 as a one-off payment.


To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be enrolled in one of the following programs:
    • Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (C3295)
    • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (C3296)
    • Certificate III in Plumbing (C3312)
  • be able to demonstrate leadership in your apprenticeship

This scholarship commemorates William Beazley, state member for Abbotsford and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in the early twentieth century. He was a leading campaigner for the recognition of technical education and its acceptance in the community.
