If you are an engineering student with an interest in electric drives, control and industrial automation engineering, this scholarship could provide financial assistance and possible work experience.

This scholarship is not currently taking applications.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides $4000 for one year. There may also be an opportunity to participate in 12 weeks’ of paid work experience..


To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be entering your honours year
  • be currently enrolled full-time in your third year in one of the following programs:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours) (BH075)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) (Honours) (BH073)
  • OR in your fourth year in one of the following double degree programs:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours)/Bachelor of Business (Management) (BH081)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours)/ Bachelor of Commerce (BH083)
  • if shortlisted, be available to attend an interview.

Terms and conditions

As the holder of this scholarship you may have the opportunity to undertake paid vacation employment with SEW-EURODRIVE. It includes the meaningful, hands-on work involved in typical manufacture design and testing of the full range of SEW-EURODRIVE products. Work may be available from November to March.
