Course Description
This course is designed to provide an opportunity to undertake a research project on an organisational topic that is relevant to the students’ experience, interests and career aspirations.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:
• apply an approved research design
• collect data, and analyse and interpret findings
• use theory and the literature to frame the research project and to interpret data
• make a sophisticated written presentation of the research project

The research project relies significantly upon self-directed learning with the assistance of an academic advisor.

The resources for this course will include books and relevant journals, both hard copy and electronic.
Overview of Assessment
The assessment in this course is based on your designing and undertaking a research project. This will require you to understand relevant literature in your chosen topic area and demonstrate an ability to relate research findings to organisational issues.
