Course Description
This is a practice based module in which students will report and reflect on implementation of a project over the previous nine months. This will be a significant change management assignment involving client contact from contact and contracting through to evaluating and reporting.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
This module will provide a base for the development of the ISM program objectives through:
• Demonstration of project management of a change management assignment
• Use of quality methods
• Application of other competencies developed during the course
• Evaluation and reflection of change management experiences.
• Ability to implement an action research project
• Completion of a significant change management assignment, including documentation
and presentation
• Understanding of feedback processes for long term projects (e.g. the Graduate Diploma)
• Ability to influence program design by providing specific feedback on each course and
the overall program
• Successful closure of the Graduate Diploma experience
• Collaborative assessment of suitability to undertake the Masters
• Ongoing personal growth in line with the ISM Program objectives and personal learning
contracts
• Ongoing development of communication and team skills within the learning community.
Overview of Learning Activities
In this module, participants report back on their year long Action research assignments. The module concludes with assisting students to manage the boundaries of finishing the Graduate Diploma through a variety of experiential activities.
