Course Description

In this course different methods of power generation based on renewable energy (wind and solar) systems are presented. Through worked examples the design principles of renewable energy systems for a number of applications are presented. Methods to assess the economic viability of the designed systems are discussed.

  1. To select, analyse and design renewable energy systems for generation of power.
    2. To perform economic analysis pf renewable energy systems and evaluate different options for power supplies.
