Course Description

The key topics in this course include: Organisational strategic modelling,  some finance concepts, Business plan development, organisational behaviour,  leadership and risk management.


Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development

This course introduces the student to the tools necessary for the analysis and implementation of credible business plan proposals related to enterprise formation.  The students will learn about business planning, organisations, leadership finance and strategic management issues in an environment of a student-based learning platform.  Here, in pre-determined classes, the students will explore collectively, the issues at critical steps of the innovation and enterprise-related business planning process.

Upon successful completion of the course, you should be able to:

  1. Use organisation management skills and tools to undertake strategic analysis of organisations.
  2. Involve innovation, leadership attributes & strategic modelling to develop viable engineering-related enterprises.
  3. Develop a business plan for proposed enterprise.
