Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

You should have successfully completed International - Work Integrated Learning 1 and International - Work Experience in Industry 1 before you are eligible to undertake International - Work Integrated Learning 2. You should also be enrolled in International - Work Experience in Industry 2 concurrently with this course.


Course Description

In this course you will apply your academic learning to a contemporary workplace situation, integrating work and learning on two levels:

  • integration of previous and current learning in courses completed in your program of study to date; and,
  • integration of previous and current learning in the workplace as part of the Co-operative Education year.

On completion of this course you should be able to:

  1. Relate your academic learning to the work environment;
  2. Identify and reflect on your development of work related skills;
  3. Synthesise, apply and evaluate knowledge, skills, experience and outcomes;
  4. Produce evidence of enhanced employability skills;
  5. Communicate findings to a professional audience.
