Course Description
The aim of Cooperative Education, Work Experience Industry 1 (WEI 1) is to provide students with an opportunity to integrate theory acquired through course work with current business practice in the field of Financial Planning.

At the conclusion of this subject, you should:

*Have developed your work ethos and learned to take responsibility for the meeting of job commitments.
*Have developed your ability to integrate the concepts taught throughout the Financial Planning program with the practical applications that you are experiencing at work.

Your will be expected to develop a Learning Contract, consult with the Academic Mentor and complete six months work experience.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment in Financial Planning Work Experience Industry 1 (WEI 1) will be based on the achievement of satisfactory student performance evaluations completed by both the work place supervisor and the academic mentor. Performance will also be evaluated in the light of your learning contract and business report
