This course is professional practice theory and is intended for final year B Biomed Sci (Pharm Sci) students only. Students must have completed and passed all courses (including electives) in the first 3 years of BP184.
Course Description
The primary focus of the course is on expression, both oral and written, of professional development throughout placement. This course will be taken in first semester of the Professional Practice year by students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Pharmaceutical Sciences) program. It will complement the concurrent studies being undertaken by students in their Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Sciences 1 (ONPS2463 or ONPS2473) course.

Overview of Learning Activities
The learning activities in this course will include off campus work placement and on campus workshops.
Concurrent enrolment in this course and ONPS2463/2473 Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Sciences 1 will allow you to integrate all of the Learning Outcomes and competency standards for pharmaceutical science professionals whilst undertaking your work placement.
The work placement lasts for 40 weeks full time.
