ONPS2173 Principles of Professional Practice 1 and ONPS2463/ONPS2473 Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Sciences 1 are required prior study. Students who have not successfully completed the prerequisites must withdraw, or will be withdrawn if they incorrectly enrol in this course.
Course Description
The primary focus of the course is on expression, both oral and written, of professional development throughout placement. This course will be taken in second semester of the Professional Practice year by students enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Pharmaceutical Sciences) program. It will complement the concurrent studies being undertaken by students in their Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Sciences (ONPS2464 or ONPS2474) course.

Overview of Learning Activities
The learning activities in this course will include off campus work placement and on campus workshops.
Concurrent enrolment in this course and ONPS2464/2474 Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2 will allow you to integrate all of the Learning Outcomes and competency standards for pharmaceutical science professionals whilst undertaking your work placement.
