Course Description

This course provides you with the opportunity to explore the application of advanced process control to particular industry sectors or areas of specialist expertise.


Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development

This course addresses the following Program Learning Outcomes:

1.2 Conceptual understanding of mathematics, numerical analysis, statistics, and computer and information sciences which underpin the engineering discipline
1.3 In-depth understanding of specialist bodies of knowledge within the engineering discipline
 


On successful completion of this course you will also be able to:

- Design conventional control systems of complex processes

- Improve the controllability of those control systems using advanced process control techniques
