Overview of Assessment

Self Directed Projects B has 3 assessment tasks:
1. Reflective feedback report due in week 6 of the semester
2. A digital folio that contains appropriate documentation of the projects due at the end of semester
3. An accompanying methodology report due at the end of semester

The reflective feedback report is a succinct analysis of your experimental projects in relation to independent research, peer to peer learning and advisor feedback.

The digital folio demonstrates how your studio based practice is developing in relation to appropriate theoretical, conceptual and contemporary art discourse.

The methodology report is a chronological evaluation of projects that demonstrates how a period of studio experimentation has extended conceptual and practical methods of approach within your art practice. It should reflect upon the feedback and knowledge gained through group tutorials, individual tutorials and lectures.

Self Directed Projects B will be assessed and moderated by a panel of academic staff on the MFA Program. Feedback will be given on all assessment tasks.

If you have a long term medical condition and/or disability it may be possible to negotiate to vary aspects of the learning or assessment methods. You can contact the program coordinator or the Disability Liaison Unit if you would like to find out more.

Your course assessment conforms to RMIT assessment principles, regulations, policies, procedures and instructions which are available for review online: http://www.rmit.edu.au/policies/academic#assessment
