Course Description

This course is designed to prepare graduates for a career in clinical biochemistry or to pursue postgraduate research in the discipline. The syllabus is covered mainly through self-directed learning supported by some tutorials and an online conference.
The subject matter covered in this course is designed to develop student appreciation of the more advanced issues concerning the modern clinical biochemistry laboratory.

Having completed this course it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
• Be proficient in the interpretation of results of clinical biochemistry investigations
• Understand the role of clinical biochemistry in clinical diagnosis
