At the end of the academic year the WIL Manager identifies students who will be eligible for Co-operative Education and the requirement to register for Co-operative Education.
Course Description
During the Preparation Program students are guided through the process of researching skills, capabilities and career aspirations to produce a standard covering letter and resume which then can be customised for each application submitted during the Co-operative placement search. Guest speakers from industry are invited to speak to students and present information on individual companies and their Co-operative Education program or other specific areas of expertise.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
This course is designed to develop and/or enhance your written communication skills as well as research skills.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- produce a resume for a job application
