How to book audiovisual items in the Library and the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) collections.

Place a hold on the item in LibrarySearch. Make sure you log in to your Library account first.

Audiovisual material in Reserve collection

To Reserve audiovisual material for screening at the City Campus, use the audiovisual material bookings form below. Make sure to book Reserve audiovisual material at least a week in advance of your screening date.

This form is not for audiovisual material housed in other RMIT campus Libraries. If you need help, call 9925 2020.

The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) collection

RMIT has access to the NFSA collection. This greatly expands the range of DVD, video and 16mm films available to you for teaching purposes.

NFSA (National Film and Sound Archive) in Canberra holds Australia's recorded image and sound recording heritage. Since 2004, NFSA has also held the National Film and Video Lending Service (NFVLS) collection; Australia's largest non-commercial screen library that has over 16,000 holdings on 16mm film, video.
