Booking media collections outside RMIT

National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA)

RMIT has access to the NFSA collection. This greatly expands the range of DVD, video and 16mm films available to you for teaching purposes.

NFSA (National Film and Sound Archive) in Canberra holds Australia's recorded image and sound recording heritage. Since 2004, NFSA has also held the National Film and Video Lending Service (NFVLS) collection; Australia's largest non-commercial screen library that has over 16,000 holdings on 16mm film, video.

Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI)

RMIT membership to the ACMI collection and access via lending has now ceased. Collection remains available for onsite research and viewing via the Australian Mediatheque.
