Want to play Rugby Sevens for RMIT?

Represent RMIT against other Victorian Universities.

The Victorian Rugby Union is launching a university-wide Rugby Sevens competition, starting in Semester 2, 2014.

Rugby Sevens is a fast version of rugby, with smaller teams, shorter games and different rules designed to speed up the game and account for the reduced number of players.

The game is played by seven players on each side, consisting of three forwards and four backs.

Games take place for a total of seven minutes each way with a one minute half time break.

If you want to be part of RMIT's new rugby sevens team, contact Jack Arnold, RMIT Sport and Recreation Officer (Clubs & Community Sport) by email clubs@rmit.edu.au.
