Linda Wilkins has significant experience as an educator, course designer and project manager in engineering, technology and business settings. She is particularly interested in technology transfer and cross-cultural issues affecting the uptake of innovation. Linda is currently collaborating with Professor Ross Smith in the elicitation of requirements, definition, design and implementation of a number of School of Business Information Technology projects closely aligned with RMIT University teaching and learning initiatives. These include:
1. A School Teaching and Learning Compliance Portal
Specification of teaching and learning features required by staff within wider School portal initiatives
2. Models of DLS Supported Learning Programs
The design and development of course materials and delivery approaches that utilize and model the full functionality and potential of RMIT's Learning Hub in support of School teaching programs.
3.School Teaching and Learning Seminars
Establishing an on-going program of monthly teaching and learning presentations selected for their relevance to both the School’s teaching and learning activities and to staff interest.

Title: Influences on Uptake of Innovative Technology in the Australian Food Industry
This research project investigates the use of Evolutionary Diffusion Theory as an explanatory framework for the evolution of innovative technology uptake within sustainable government-sponsored (G2B) communities. The project focuses on the EXDOC online food export documentation system developed by AQIS.
2001 Business-Higher Education Round Table National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Collaboration in Education and Training, 1999-2001 accepted on behalf of the Telstra Home Team, RMIT University.
