Research interests

Current interests centre on Vitamin D.The Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists has provided funding support to establish an Australian Reference Laboratory of measurement of Vitamin D at RMIT.Collaboration with the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science is aimed at elucidating the regulation of 1,25 dihydroxyvitamin D metabolism.

Within RMIT, two honours projects have been jointly supervised with A/Prof Marian Dobos. These projects, which have had molecular biochemistry and microbiology focuses, have been successfully completed.
