Further details

Back for the fourth time, CISA has chosen ‘Engage Locally, Connect Nationally’ as this year’s conference theme to promote local engagement between international students and their communities and to encourage a ‘bottom-up’ approach in the demand-driven environment of Australian education.

The conference is a platform for students to have their say about various topics related to international students in Australia. In addition, conference delegates will have the opportunity to build on their leadership, project management and communication skills through various workshops.

Delegates will also get to hear from distinguished speakers, including:

• Ela Gandhi – granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi and patron for International Centre of Nonviolence Australia

• The Hon. Christopher Pyne, MP – Minister for Education

• Senator the Hon. Kim Carr – Shadow Minister for Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Industry.
