Vendor Depreciation of Turnitin Classic as of August 1, 2017

On Thursday, 5th January, Turnitin Feedback Studio became the default Turnitin service for all Turnitin customers, combining the existing features of Turnitin (OriginalityCheck and GradeMark) into a single, more intuitive and accessible, user environment.

Since then, individual instructors have been able to revert to the classic Turnitin grading interface through the use of a toggle button within the Turnitin interface.

Turnitin have now advised that the classic Turnitin grading interface will be retired and fully replaced with Feedback Studio on August 1, 2017. After this time, users will no longer be able to revert to the classic Turnitin interface via the toggle button. This change is being applied by the vendor to all Turnitin customers, irrespective of their home institution.

Turnitin have a number of online support items including Instructor Guides and quick tips to help educators get up and running with the new interface.
