Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award 2015

Back in its fourth year, the Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award aims to extend the traditional notion of portraiture to the digital realm.(Image credit by Brett Boardman)

The National Portrait Gallery is offering a $10,000 cash award or an artistic residency for two outstanding screen-based digital portraits.

There are two award categories:

Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award

All entrants aged 18 and over are eligible to win a $10,000 cash award.

Macquarie Digital Portraiture Young Adult Award

Entrants aged 18 to 30 are eligible to win an artist residency at the State Library of Queensland valued at $15,000.

Finalists’ portraits will also be displayed at the National Portrait Gallery from 28 August to 29 November 2015.
