Contemporary European Studies Association of Australia (CESAA) Essay Competition

Winning essays will be considered for publication in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of European Studies.

CESAA is running its 21 st essay competition which is open to all students at Australian tertiary institutions.

The competition

CESAA essay competition is generously supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Australia and New Zealand. It is open to all students at Australian tertiary institutions.

Essays from any discipline dealing with contemporary (post-war) Europe and/or the European Union can be submitted for consideration in one of the following two categories:

  • best essay by an undergraduate student
  • best essay by an honours or postgraduate student.

Prize

Prizes will be awarded as gift vouchers to the value of:

  • $250 - undergraduate
  • $350 - postgraduate

Winners will also receive a year’s free membership of CESAA.

Closing date for entries is Monday 30 June 2014.
