1000 Steps and Grants Reserve

Challenge yourself on the 1000 Steps Kokoda Track Memorial Walk and then enjoy time at Grants Reserve.

On your walk you will trek through majestic mountain ash forests, bushlands and various scenic points whilst passing various memorial plaques.

After your walk, you will head to Grants Reserve in Sherbrooke Forest where you will enjoy a light lunch under some of the world’s tallest flowering plants. You will also have the chance to hand feed rosellas in their natural environment.

Cost includes:

  • transportation to 1000 Step Memorial Walk in the Dandenong Ranges
  • 1000 steps walk
  • light lunch at Grants on Sherbrooke
  • bird feeding at Grants Reserve
  • return transport back to City campus.

Please remember to bring a waterproof jacket, comfortable shoes and money if you would like to purchase extra food or souvenirs.

How to book

To qualify for the RMIT student rate you will need to present your current RMIT student card on the tour otherwise your tour will be forfeited and a refund will not be provided.
