Jerome Daquin

Dr. Jerome Daquin is a Research Officer in the School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences, SPACE Research Centre.

Overview

Jerome Daquin is a University of Lille 1 and Paris Astronomical Observatory graduate. His research interests lie mainly in the dynamics of artificial satellites and space debris, with a special emphasis on the chaotic effects of resonances, and on efficient techniques to propagate oscillatory systems in the long-term.

  • 2011: Master Research Degree in Applied Mathematics, University of Lille 1, France.
  • 2012: Master Research Degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics, Paris Observatory, France.
  • 2015: PhD thesis, Paris Observatory (funded by the French Space Agency, CNES, and Thales), Essays on the Long Term Resonant Motions of Space Debris, supervised by Pr. Jerome Perez (ENSTA Paristech) and Dr. Florent Deleflie (IMCCE Paris).
