Volunteer at an APEC meeting

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Study Centre at RMIT is currently calling for volunteers to assist in the facilitation of a three day meeting from10-13 August 2015.

This is an opportunity for individuals interested in international business, development and economics who would like to contribute and gain an insight into the running and delivery of an APEC meeting.

The theme for this meeting is on ‘Resilient, Inclusive growth: A Fair Deal for All’, which aims to provoke thought and in-depth discussions among the 200 business representatives who will be attending the meeting.

APEC is the premier forum for facilitating economic growth, co-operation, trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region. The APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) is the corporate arm of APEC and brings together members with industry, and government for high level business discussions.

Expressions of interest applications have been extended and will now close on 25th June 2015.
