Festival Program

As part of RMIT’s White Night Melbourne event in 2014, onsite/insite will showcase up to twenty site-specific works created by RMIT students, responding to sites around RMIT City campus and First Site Gallery during Orientation.

Selected artists will be provided with seed funding, curatorial support to exhibit their work, and admission to onsite art-lab: a two-day interdisciplinary art think-tank.

The event itself will include a launch with live performances, an exhibition opening, and guided walks along with printed maps for self-guided walks.

Both current and graduating students are encouraged to apply.

Important Dates:

  • Submissions Open: Monday 10 November.
  • Submissions Closed: Monday 9 December.
  • Applicants notified: Friday 13 December.
  • Launch Date: Saturday 22 February.
  • Exhibition Dates: Saturday 22 February – Sunday 9 March 2014.
