College of Business Committees

Student members are elected at annual elections held in September to October for the following academic year. These positions include:

Business Education Committee

  • One (1) undergraduate student
  • One (1) postgraduate student

Business Resesearch Committee

  • One (1) Higher Degree by Research candidate

Higher Degrees by Research Consultative Sub-committee

  • One (1) HDR candidate, School of Accounting
  • One (1) HDR candidate, School of Business IT and Logistics
  • One (1) HDR candidate, School of Economics, Finance and Marketing
  • One (1) HDR candidate, Graduate School of Business and Law
  • One (1) HDR candidate, School of Management

Elected student members hold office from 1 January to 31 December.

Student-Staff Consultative Committees (SSCCs)

Student-Staff Consultative Committees (SSCCs) are forums attended by students and staff to provide student feedback on academic programs.

The committees meet at least twice each semester and focus on program-related issues such as assessment, workload, teaching methods, program structure, timetabling, access to resources and other related matters raised by staff or students.
