GEDC Airbus Diversity Award 2015

Airbus Group and GEDC (Global Engineering Deans Council) are now seeking nominations for people and projects worldwide that have made a measurable difference in increasing diversity and inclusion amongst engineering students and graduates.

The GEDC Airbus Diversity Award recognises people and projects worldwide that have brought diversity and inclusion into the engineering student body. They’re looking for initiatives which have encouraged students of all profiles and backgrounds to study and succeed in engineering.

For the chance to be the next GEDC Airbus Diversity Award champion, you or your team will need to have started an initiative to make engineering schools more diverse and inclusive. Hence, if you’re closely involved with a project or club that’s been successful in increasing representation of all types of diverse people within RMIT then you’re in with a chance!

Should you be one of the three finalists, you will be invited to the GEDC Annual Conference in Adelaide, Australia, from 30 November to 2 December 2015, to present your project to a distinguished Jury.

Runner-ups will receive a sum of USD $1500 in recognition of their initiatives. The award recipient will achieve global visibility and receive USD $10,000 to support the continuing work.
