Latin dance class (every Monday)

Try your hand at beginners or intermediate Latin and Latin American dance classes every Monday lunchtime during the semester. Free for RMIT students.

We offer two Latin dance classes, you can come to one or both! These classes run weekly on Monday lunchtimes during the semester.

No experience? No worries! Our teachers will show you the basics, and help you learn the moves. The class is for you to learn in an enjoyable environment so go for it.

1. Latin (for beginners/intermediate)

Salsa with a touch of bachata and tango!
Mondays 12–1 pm

2. Latin American (for beginners/intermediate)

Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble and jive.
Mondays 1–2 pm

You can join in the classes at any time throughout the semester. Book online before your first class. For more information contact linkarts@rmit.edu.au.

How to book

This class is open to RMIT students (free) and non-RMIT students ($40). We also offer classes in Urban, Contemporary, and Break dance – when you book your latin class you can book other dance style classes at the same time – just tick the checkboxes for the classes you want to come to!
