RMIT Volleyball club wants to see you in court

If you like to ‘spike’, volleyball could be just the thing for you!

Our Volleyball club welcomes you to join the sport that encourages fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Since its inception, the RMIT Volleyball club has remained one of the most active clubs hosted by RMIT. This year, the club has almost doubled its membership.

During the first semester of 2014, the club participated in several organised tournaments, including the Melbourne Spikers Snowgum Winter Whack held at the Darebin Community Sports Centre.

The club entered four teams of different levels – an A-grade, two B-grade and one C-grade. Both the A-grade and C-grade teams won bronze medals and one of our C-grade players was judged most valuable player!

Of course, the club is not just for competitive volleyball players. Whatever your culture, background or skill level, the club encourages you to get involved.

They also hold regular social events, including a recent trivia and pizza night, which are very much enjoyed by all members.

For more information, or to join the RMIT Volleyball club, email volleyball.club@rmit.edu.au.
