Saab Australia Pty Ltd Scholarship

If you are a female in your final year of a Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science, specialising in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Systems, Software or Mechatronics, this scholarship could provide financial assistance for your final semester of study.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides $7000 for one semester.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • female
  • an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • enrolled full-time in semester 2, 2016 in your final year (final semester) of one of the following RMIT programs:
    • Bachelor of Software Engineering (BP096)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing & Mechatronics)(Honours) / Bachelor of Business (International Business) (BH086)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) (BH068)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)(Honours) (BH073)
    • Bachelor of Computer Science (BP094)
  • enrolled or have already applied to be mentored in the Women @ RMIT program
  • able to demonstrate your academic achievement in the first three years of your studies in one or more of the above mentioned programs
  • able to demonstrate your interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, innovation, self-motivation and potential leadership qualities.

Terms and conditions

The recipient will be offered a place in the Saab Graduate program in 2017, and there is an expectation (although it's not a condition), that they would accept this offer. The 2017 Graduate Program will be held in Adelaide.
