About the event

Malte Wagenfeld, Industrial Designer, RMIT, will explore the social focus, thinking and impact of the Ulm School and German design in the 60 -to early 80s.

Rejecting the idea of design as an artistic activity, the ‘Ulm Model’ focused instead on inter-disciplinary work, highly strict methodology and objective design analysis that still resonates in the design world.
