Course Description
In this course you will acquire the skills and knowledge to sew woven and stretch knit garments.
The applies to sewing complete stretch and woven fabric garments or products and may apply to sample machining involving all operations in the assembly of a garment to specification.
It covers planning, aligning and sewing complete stretch and woven fabric garments from specifications or patterns using a variety of machines and processes.

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and will include three assessments or projects. Assessments will be in the form of tests for underpinning knowledge and demonstration and observation of your abillity to plan garment constructions, prepare work pieces and workstation, identify poor machine performance, sew garment and complete work. Also by questioning for underpinning knowledge.
