Course Description
In this course you will cover the skills and knowledge required to apply quality standards to work operations in an organisation. The unit applies to a worker who is expected to take responsibility for the quality of their own work, and to take actions specified in the procedures and within the scope of their job and authority to ensure that quality standards are met.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and will include three assessments or projects. Assessments will be in the form of tests for underpinning knowledge and demonstration and observation of your ability to work within a quality system, assess your own work, assess quality of materials, component parts or final products, investigate causes of quality deviations and complete documentation. Also by questioning for underpinning knowledge.
