Course Description

This course describes the basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology required to recognise body systems and their
components and to identify and refer alterations associated with the functioning of the human body in the context
of health care work.

Overview of Assessment

The assessment will involve two written examinations  and participation in the class room activities to demonstrate the skill and knowledge required for this course.

Assessment Tasks

There will be two written examinations and the dates will be informed to the students. These examinations will assess the underpinning knowledge of the students for the body systems, the functioning of the normal healthy human body and the relationship between different systems. The students will be required to successfully pass both examinations to gain a competency in this course. This course involves graded assessment.
