Course Description
This course covers selecting equipment for electrical installations operating at voltages up to 1,000V a.c. or 1,500 V d.c. to meet performance standards. These encompass schemes for protection of persons and property, correct function, compatibility with the supply, arrangement of circuits and selection of switchgear, controlgear, protection devices and wiring based on calculated and deemed-to-comply solutions.
