Course Description

In this unit you will develop the skills and knowledge required to use typography techniques in design work. It includes a general knowledge of typography and its application to different design briefs.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

None

This course is delivered and assessed in conjunction GRAP5337 Graphic design techniques and VART6279 Realise a creative project.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment is on-going throughout the course. Assessment will incorporate a range of methods to assess performance and the application of knowledge and skills and will include tasks and projects.

Assessment tasks are:
Type project 1A - Magazine 50%
Type project 2A - Music event branding 50%
