The following range of assessment tools may be used to assess the unit of competency:

• analysis of responses to case studies and scenarios
• assessment of written reports
• assess knowledge of workers’ compensation tribunal procedures
• review of assessment undertaken of a proposed return-to-work program
• evaluation of contact and support organised between provider and injured worker.
