Course Description

This unit of competency could be assessed in the workplace or a close simulation of the workplace environment providing that simulated or project-based assessment techniques fully replicate plumbing and services workplace conditions, materials, activities, responsibilities and procedures.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment may incorporate a variety of methods including written/oral activities and demonstration of practical skills to the relevant industry standards. Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor. Feedback will be provided throughout the course.

To be deemed competent you must demonstrate an understanding of all aspects required of the competency. Assessment methods have been designed to measure your achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over multiple tasks.


Assessment Tasks

 

Assessment task one,submit completed assignment

Assessment task three, Students to submit answers to the five Developmental activitys from the BSBOHS403B Participants Guide as a portfolio of evedence of progression through the learning program

Students are required to complete three different types of assessment tasks, work book quizzes worth 20% in total, Developmental activity 30% and Assessment tasks worth 50%.
Successful completion is achieved if the student attains at least 50% of total mark for each type of assessment task AND his/her accumulation of marks is NOT less than 50% of all the assessment tasks.
