Course Description

When you work in the live production, events and audiovisual industries, you could be working in the public or private sector and interacting with a wide range of people including work colleagues, supervisors, clients and other arts professionals in contexts such as community projects, exhibitions, events or festivals.

The ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing with these people is a crucial skill which is highly valued by employers in the above industries. 

 

Developing your communication skills can help all aspects of your life, from your professional life to social gatherings and everything in between.  The ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended, is a vital life skill and something that should not be overlooked. 

 

In this course you will be exposed to a range of industry professionals and effective communication skills which will assist you to work in the live production, events and audiovisual industries.
