Course Description

This course is designed to assists the learners to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to analyse, testing and manipulation of Wave Division Multiplex (WDM) optical system technology. The knowledge and skills addressed in this course include: Transmission of multiple signal using WDM, Types of WDM systems, Interfacing between electrical and optical networks, WDM systems components and their function, Optical switching.
