Overview of Assessment
A person who demonstrates competency in this unit must be able to apply OH&S Acts, regulations, codes of practice and enterprise OH&S procedures during the supervision of aviation maintenance activities.
Evidence must include observation in the workplace as well as off-the job techniques such as interviews and simulations. Conditions for simulations should accurately simulate the range of circumstances (especially with regard to a realistic range of emergencies and hazardous events) that the individual could be expected to deal with in the workplace and allow for discussion.
