Course Description

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required of enrolled nurses to administer and monitor medications and evaluate their effectiveness for clinets within a health environment.

Assessment Matrix

A summative examination assessing knowledge will be required. This examination will constitute 90% of the total marks required
A drug calculation assessment task will be required to be completed & this assessment task will constitute 10% of the total marks required. A 100% pass is required for this assessment.
Observation and assessment of clinical competencies will be ongoing during clinical placements.
To achieve competency all assessment tasks must be completed by the due date and related clinical competencies achieved.
