Course Description
The purpose of this module is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to undertake project management in the workplace

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner should be able to:
1. Define a project
2. Analyse the scope of a project
3. Use planning, scheduling and cost control techniques
4. Select and develop a project team
5. Identify the roles and responsibilities of a project manager
6. Incorporate quality systems into project management
7. Identify the legal obligations applicable to a particular project
Overview of Assessment
The assessment for this module will consist of the following:
1 x closed book examination at the end of the program worth 50%
2 x individual assignment worth 30%
1 x group project worth 20%
