Course Description

Students will develop their skills required to implement system changes that are primarily software related.
Students will be enrolled into the Cisco Networking Academy Program and use its extensive online curriculum resources with web based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, hands-on labs and preparation for industry standard certifications. This course will be delivered using the Academy’s CCNA curriculum.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Successful completion of ICAITI097B Install and configure a network.
Successful completion of ICAITS107B Rectify system faults on a live system
Successful completion of ICAITI101B Install and manage network protocols

Overview of Assessment

The student must demonstrate an understanding of all elements of a particular competency to be deemed competent.
Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods including online or written tests, a Skills Test which covers skills acquired in lab activities and a final online theory exam.
