Course Description

This unit of competency sets out the knowledge and skills required to perform basic fabrication tasks under supervision. This involves using appropriate machinery and applying associated fabrication and assembly techniques to the fabrications process. The competency may be demonstrated in fabrication processes using bending, cutting, measuring, mechanical fastening, bonding, glueing and assembling.
