Course Description
This unit of competency sets out the knowledge and skills to analyse refrigeration systems. It includes the ability to predict and report on the performance of a typical range of refrigeration and HVAC systems, their components, enclosures in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
The unit applies to manufacturing, servicing and maintenance enterprises incorporating refrigeration and air conditioning design, manufacture and installation.
This unit of competency is intended for courses at diploma level or higher.
